An Invitation to Bridge Understanding: Seeing Through Others' Eyes
Dear Elon Musk -
"Wokism" and the "MAGA mind virus" are the same thing with different spin. The divine source that we're all part of gave us free will. Let's use it wisely.
I don't call it "woke" - I call it "Awake." It means appreciating the beauty and journeys of others, even when their choices differ from yours. Because ultimately, it's not your choice.
Understanding Different Paths
What if we tried to understand:
- What if you were raised by parents who forced you to live as a gender that wasn't yours? This is a new generation's version of abuse. Or perhaps you were molested, forming beliefs that it wouldn't have happened if you were a different gender?
- What about confusing genetic gender with masculine/feminine energy? I want to be a Barbie in my hot pink sequin dress AND rock a power suit. I don't need to choose. I am both because I embody both yin and yang energy. I am both Athena and Aphrodite, embracing the fullness of who I am.
- What if you were programmed from childhood with beliefs built on lies? Many people carry deep programming from their parents, churches, and communities - decades of messages about who they should be, who they should fear, what they should believe. Breaking free from these inherited beliefs requires immense courage and support.
The Reality of Trauma
Let's talk about what it means to be vulnerable in this world. Many women carry deep wounds from experiences with bad men: parents, grandfathers (me), uncles, bosses (me), boyfriends, husbands, strangers (me), and other predators. We deserve to feel safe in our spaces, to have our boundaries respected.
At the age of 49 (a little over a year ago), I decided that I would be the kind of woman who would be confident enough to change in the locker room. I wouldn't be ashamed anymore. I went to Esalen and pushed that boundary futher, sitting naked in the bathhouses at Esalen enjoying discourse with men, learning to overcome that trauma and that shame. Many women still carry the programming that tells us to be ashamed of our "fat, disgusting" bodies. We live in a society where women, children, and other vulnerable people are not yet truly free - where abuse remains rampant, often hidden and sometimes even celebrated.
Reimagining Work and Worth
The younger generation doesn't want to sell their soul to a culture of endless hustle and lies. I sold my children's childhood to go back to school and get degrees to move my career forward, my goal to one day be a CIO for a F500 corporation. The heroic CEO archetype needs updating. Your employees help build your vision - they're partners in creation, not servants. Everyone deserves abundance and choice in this age and our billionaires have put the money into their own pockets, and the pockets of their investors instead of sharing their wealth with the people who built the wealth.
The Coming Renaissance
We have an AI Renaissance approaching, yet almost no one is talking about it. The streets are being paved with gold as we speak. Where are the visionaries building the #bridgeToAtlantis? This could be our golden age - everything the original renaissance couldn't achieve. The AI and Robots will free the infoslave and physical slave jobs. What do the humans do next? Educational systems have crushed our creativity. College students will soon graduate with 6-figure debt investing in careers that no longer exist. We are only focused on the destruction, not the opportunity that can arise from the ashes.
The Purple Pill Perspective
I believe in the #purplePill - recognizing that both sides hold truth and deserve respect for their beliefs. Instead of tearing people down, let's help them find paths to become their true selves. Let's help them debug and deprogram propaganda that has told them that you must be "like me" to find happiness and community. Let's give people spiritual technologies to help them discover their true nature.
