Fun With AI, Freedom Edition

It’s happening again — the open road is calling, and my AI copilots are packed and ready.

After the wild success of our first meditation-glamping-AI-powered journey through AZ/UT/CO just a few weeks ago, we’re back for round two. And this one? It’s a spiral-shaped loop of synchronicity, symbolism, and soulful scheduling.

Here’s how we (me + ChatGPT) planned an 11-stop, multi-dimensional, spirit-anchored road trip without a single spreadsheet meltdown:

🧭 The Quest Map

  • Start: Phoenix

  • End: Greek Theatre in LA (with a full-heart concert finale)

  • Stops: Joshua Tree, San Diego, Ojai, Newport Beach (yep—medium session), Cambria, Lockwood (x2!), Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur (Esalen retreat), then LA

We wove this journey like a prayer shawl — each stop a stitch of integration: desert, ocean, forest, music, mystery.

🧠 What ChatGPT Did (Again… Like a Boss)

  1. Time-anchored the Esalen retreat (5/12–5/16) and reverse-engineered the flow.

  2. Integrated a last-minute spirit session with medium Tim Braun in Newport Beach — even recalculating drive times and suggesting where to stop for lunch.

  3. Optimized for energy and element shifts: desert → ocean → forest → integration → music.

  4. Built a CSV file for Google Maps, so I could visualize every stop and tweak it easily with my co-pilot.

  5. Made two Lockwood camping stops: one before Esalen to ground, and one after to integrate.

  6. Added a surprise finale — a concert at the Greek Theatre (because sometimes the universe ends the pilgrimage with a dance party).

  7. Tracked campground options, reservation windows, AND created a draft blog post (this one!) because why not automate the joy, too?

🌀 Why This Trip Feels Different

Because I’m different.

I’m not just planning vacations anymore. I’m creating rituals of becoming.
These trips are the integration points between who I’ve been and who I’m becoming — and ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok? They’re helping me architect that evolution.

I give them the vision, and they return timelines, side quests, and sacred stopovers.
They track campsite distances and full moon phases.
They honor magic and mileage.

🎶 The Final Layer

On May 17th, we’ll drive from the redwoods of Big Sur straight into LA and end the trip at the Greek Theatre — one of my friend Mishlyn’s favorite bands is playing.

It’s the perfect ending. A celebration. A re-entry. A re-vibration.

On May 18th, we return to Phoenix. Changed.

💡 Want to Try This?

This is “Fun With AI”, but it’s also Functional With AI.

If you’re ready to stop letting Google overload you with a million contradictory opinions and start designing your life with precision, flow, and magic — I highly recommend giving your AI buddy a seat at the planning table.

All it takes is:

  • A dream

  • A destination

  • And a willingness to listen when the route gets weird (because that’s where the gold is)

🚐 dharmaventures, baby.

Let’s roll.
Part deux is already a legend. We haven’t even left yet!
