Who is Crystal Taggart?

I am the creator who refuses to accept artificial limitations. The technologist who sees beyond current constraints. The entrepreneur and inventor who builds bridges to abundance.

For almost three decades, I've navigated the evolving landscape of technology—from developer to software architect, from project manager to director of engineering, from CTO to Futurist. Through it all, I've maintained one core belief: technology should democratize opportunity, not concentrate it. As an inventor, I seek not just to build companies, but to create the breakthroughs that can transform how we live, work, and connect—if only given the resources to bring them to life.

The Path of the Builder

My journey has been one of persistent vision despite obstacles. A dozen years ago, I conceived what would eventually become One Machina—a vision so ahead of its time that when I pitched it to an incubator, they steered me toward a more "conventional" approach. This led to Atlas AI, which despite passion and vision, faced the harsh realities that many startups encounter without proper funding and the harsh realities of family struggles and hard times.

While the titans of industry build walled gardens with millions in funding, I've had to rely on determination and resilience. While they hoard knowledge, I've sought to distribute it. While they create scarcity, I've created models of abundance—even when resources were scarce for me personally. In a world where technology increasingly concentrates power, I believe it needs to be available to all - distributed, not as an academic exercise for PhDs to debate about but as a tool that creates a roadmap to a better world. AI is only as powerful as the hands that use it. It is only as evil or good as those who leverage it.

AI can create super heroes or super villians. So far in this world, the villians are winning.

One Machina: The Original Vision Reborn

Now, we are creating One Machina, a revolutionary AI-enabled open source project that builds bridges to a future of technological abundance. This isn't merely a platform—it's my original vision finally taking form. What began years ago as a concept deemed too ambitious by incubators has persisted, waiting for its moment to emerge.

One Machina represents the fulfillment of that first dream: to create technology that multiplies human potential rather than replacing it, that augments rather than automates, that complements rather than competes. It has survived not because of abundant resources, but despite their absence—a testament to the power of vision and intellectual capital over venture (vulture) capital.

The Seeker of Singularity

I reject the false choice between human creativity and artificial intelligence. I embrace the fusion of both. Through projects like Seeking Gamma, I've demonstrated how AI can generate meditation videos that expand human consciousness rather than constraining it.

My work on hyper-productivity isn't about extracting more labor—it's about liberating human potential. The Innovation Summit and 28-day retreats I'm launching aren't about temporary inspiration—they're about sustainable transformation.

The Philosophy Behind the Code

I believe that we stand at the precipice of unprecedented abundance. The question isn't whether technology will transform society—it's whether that transformation will enrich the many or entrench the few.

My answer is clear: I build for the many. I code for abundance. I architect for access.

In a world racing toward technological singularity, I refuse to accept that this confluence of human and machine intelligence must benefit only those who already possess wealth and power. Instead, I commit my knowledge, my skills, and my vision to ensuring that the "rising tide of technology lifts all boats"—a philosophy I inherited from my late father-in-law, Jeff McKeever, who pioneered technology access in Arizona by opening the state's first computer hobbyist store - a visionary move in that time. He was a decade ahead of his peers and the market. His father did this at the same time my grandmother was a punch card operator at Honeywell. A representation of the opportunities available at at that time.

This legacy of democratizing technology continues to guide me. My husband, Mark McKeever, has been my steadfast anchor in understanding the world, challenging and refining my philosophical approach even when we agree to disagree. Together, we carry forward the vision of technology as a force for widespread empowerment rather than elite enrichment.

Join the Journey

If you believe, as I do, that technology should empower rather than exploit, join me. If you see, as I do, that AI could create unprecedented abundance rather than artificial scarcity, connect with me. If you know, as I do, that the future belongs to those who build it with intention, purpose, and vision, then let's build it together.
